Arsenal have been big spenders over the course of the season as Mikel Arteta finally looks to claim the Premier League title.
Arsenal have finished second for three years running, missing out on the Premier League title by narrow margins.
The Gunners have missed out by five points, two points and 10 points in the last three seasons, pushing title races late into the season.
Mikel Arteta now needs to try and force Arsenal over the line, having now gone five years without silverware, outside of the Community Shield.
Freddie Ljungberg was not impressed with Arsenal’s style of play against Liverpool on Sunday, as the Reds claimed a 1-0 win at Anfield.
Arsenal have spent handsomely over the summer, with Piero Hincapie’s loan arrival putting the finishing touches to a strong window.

Martin Zubimendi finally joined Arsenal after months of speculation, before Viktor Gyokeres arrived at the Emirates Stadium from Sporting.
Arsenal then snapped up Eberechi Eze, hijacking Tottenham Hotspur’s move for the England playmaker.
Arteta has spent in excess of £250million on new signings this summer, leaving fans expectant of tangible success.
Arsenal defender Jurrien Timber has now commented on a busy summer, while speaking to VoetbalPrimeur in his native Netherlands.
Timber believes Arsenal were ‘short on numbers’ last season, so he and his teammates were expecting a ‘big’ summer transfer window.
Timber now feels that there is ‘definitely pressure’ on Arsenal to go and win the Premier League title after making significant signings.
The Dutchman accepts the pressure of playing for a big club, though, and remembers similar expectation levels at Ajax.
Timber also noted that trophies are being talked about at Arsenal, with a firm belief that Arteta’s squad is good enough to get over the line.
“After last season, we realised we were a bit short on numbers, so we knew it was going to be a ‘big’ summer,” said Timber.
“And that’s exactly what happened. It’s been a while since we last won the championship, so there’s definitely pressure. That’s just part of being a club like this. It was the same at Ajax.
“It’s being talked about. You know you have a good team, so you want to win trophies. Because you know it’s possible. We’re in a situation now where it is.
“I think we struggled with injuries last season and dropped points because we didn’t play well. This season, we feel we can make it. We’ll see. It’s still early days; a lot can still happen,” he added.
Arsenal can hit back after Liverpool defeat
Arsenal head into the international break after a first defeat of the season, and title race talk has already started.
We are three games into the Premier League season, and nothing is won or lost yet, certainly with Arsenal just three points behind Liverpool.
The international break should give the likes of William Saliba, Ben White, Christian Norgaard and Bukayo Saka time to shrug off injury concerns and contribute in a crucial run of games.
Arsenal face Nottingham Forest at home after the break, before travelling to Athletic Club in the Champions League.
Manchester City then head to Arsenal before the Gunners face a trip to Newcastle United, with an EFL Cup clash at Port Vale sandwiched in between those two big games.
If Arsenal can claim nine points from those three Premier League games, they will make a serious statement in the title race and pile the pressure right back on Liverpool.
Arteta certainly has the quality at his disposal to pick up those results, and will look for a strong run before the October international break as Arsenal look to get back on track.
