Trevor Lawrence and Travis Hunter already have comically good chemistry for Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars are entering the 2025 season with the expectation that they will turn things around. In addition to several talented young players on both sides of the ball, the Jaguars will look to first-year head coach Liam Coen, franchise quarterback Trevor Lawrence, and rookie sensation Travis Hunter to be the catalyst of the turn around.

Hunter, hoping to be a two-way star like he has been all his life, has been splitting his time on offense and defense. However, the split workload hasn’t stopped him from developing chemistry with Lawrence. The veteran quarterback is the only quarterback who will be intentionally throwing the ball to Hunter, and it seems like the two already have elite chemistry ahead of their regular-season debut.

This was evident in a recent adidas commercial featuring the two. Both adidas athletes, Lawrence and Hunter spent 30 seconds dancing with each other to Denise Williams’ 80s hit song “Let’s Hear It for the Boy.” With cameos from Hunter’s younger brother, Trayvis, and the Jaguars’ mascot, Jaxson de Ville, the veteran quarterback and rookie receiver tried out each other’s moves and even connected on a pass.

The ad ended with the words “We all need someone to make us believe,” before showing Hunter and Lawrence running out of the tunnel for a game.

Travis Hunter and Trevor Lawrence show off dance moves in new adidas ad

Hunter literally danced across the stage when his name was called second in the NFL Draft, and he hasn’t stopped dancing since. While his elite playmaking on both sides of the ball highlighted his first offseason in Jacksonville, his nonstop dancing was also a storyline.

Everyone acknowledged how the energy Hunter brings is infectious, and the rookie vowed to get his more stoic teammates like Brian Thomas Jr. and Trevor Lawrence to break out a few moves. Hunter already has Lawrence moving, and it’s documented in a commercial. Hopefully, the two will be able to put these moves on display on the field after connecting for touchdowns.
