Arsenal have officially announced her 25-man squad for the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League league phase, with Mikel Arteta making some notable inclusions and exclusions.

The Gunners have welcomed several new faces to the squad, including Viktor Gyokeres, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Piero Hincapie, Cristhian Mosquera, Noni Madueke, and Martin Zubimendi, who will be key players in the team’s campaign.

One of the most significant absences from the squad is Gabriel Jesus, who is still recovering from knee surgery.

The Brazilian striker suffered a serious ACL injury in January 2025 and is expected to be out for an extended period.

Arsenal’s medical staff has hinted earlier that Jesus’ rehabilitation could stretch until early 2026, making it impractical to include him in the squad.

The squad features a mix of experienced players and young talents, including 15-year-old Max Dowman, who has been included in the list.

Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly, both talented young players, do not need to be registered until they turn 21, as they can be included on list ‘B’.

Arsenal’s Champions League squad includes goalkeepers David Raya, Kepa Arrizabalaga, and Tommy Setford; defenders William Saliba, Cristhian Mosquera, Ben White, Piero Hincapie, Gabriel Magalhaes, Jurrien Timber, and Riccardo Calafiori.

The Gunners were crushed out of the Champions League last season by Paris Saint Germain in the semi-finals and will regroup to challenge again for the title with a really reinvigorated squad this season.

Arsenal will face Bayern Munich (H), Inter Milan (A), Atletico Madrid (H), Club Brugge (A), Olympiakos (H), Slavia Prague (A), Kairat Almaty (H) and Athletic Bilbao (A) in the league phase of the competition.
