Diamond Steward, 31, was arrested Monday in the 700 block of East 111th Street and faces a first-degree murder charge, police said.

A woman has been charged in a fatal Riverdale shooting, according to Chicago police.

Diamond Steward, 31, was arrested Monday in the 700 block of East 111th Street and faces a first-degree murder charge, police said.

Dejah Manning, 26, was involved in a dispute outside a home in the 13200 block of South Ellis Avenue about 7:30 p.m. when Steward is alleged to have pulled out a handgun and opened fire, police said. Manning was struck in the chest and taken to University of Chicago Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.

Steward is due in court Thursday, police said.
