Seahawks Injury Report: Good news for Knight and Horton

The Seattle Seahawks’ first injury report of the season revealed some good news regarding linebacker Tyrice Knight and rookie wide receiver Tory Horton.

As for edge rusher Uchenna Nwosu, it’s still wait and see.

The Seahawks are being overlooked in 4 ways by national pundits

Knight, who was sidelined for part of training camp with a knee injury and a separate undisclosed medical issue, wasn’t among the five players listed on Seattle’s mandatory practice report for Wednesday. Horton, who injured his ankle in the second preseason game, landed on the report but was listed as a full participant.

That would appear to indicate both Knight and Horton are on track to play in Sunday afternoon’s season opener against the NFC West rival San Francisco 49ers.

Nwosu, meanwhile, was listed as a limited participant as he continues to work back from offseason knee surgery.

Wide receivers Jake Bobo (concussion), Dareke Young (hamstring) and Cody White (shoulder) were also limited. Bobo sustained a concussion in the preseason finale.

This story will be updated with additional information.
