"He's a good quarterback. He is a third-year junior but he has started games each of the last two years. His first start was actually as a true freshman in an NCAA playoff game (at the FCS level) two years ago. He has done a nice job. Sturdy kid, willing to run it. He ran through a pretty tough Del-State guy for a touchdown the other night. Throws it well. Good dual-threat quarterback. Though most of his quarterback runs are typically on scrambles, he is willing and able to run. He's 6-foot-2, 215-pounds. So he's solid."
