Despite the transfer window closing at 7pm on Monday night there remains a slim possibility that Graham Potter’s West Ham squad could still be thinned.
There remains a “very, very, very small chance” that Guido Rodríguez could still depart West Ham for the Saudi Pro League as their window doesn’t close until 23 September, but he has already turned it down once.
Another option is Mexico, as their window doesn’t close until 12 September, as he previously played in Mexico for Club Tijuana and Club America.

Rodríguez had looked odds-on to go to Spain during the transfer window, with both Espanyol and Real Betis making bids, but his agent ultimately rejected both offers.
He is claimed to earn over £75,000 per week at West Ham, and that is one of the challenges in finding clubs outside the Premier League that are willing to pay that amount without subsidy.
The agent has specific personal terms for his client and agent fee demands, which must be met for Rodríguez to depart.
