As Amick claimed at the time, Leonard's uncle Dennis Robertson asked for a series of illegal requests to be allowed so Kawhi could sign with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Per report, Robertson wanted Leonard to receive a partial ownership share, private plane access, a house and a guaranteed amount of endorsement money to secure his commitment.
All of those requests would have violated the NBA's collective bargaining agreement and were thus denied by Lakers governor at the time Jeanie Buss.
Amick also claims Robertson asked for similar things when meeting with the Toronto Raptors about potentially extending his contract there.
