A frantic transfer window at Manchester United has ended with the club reshaping the squad in Ruben Amorim’s vision.
Four players arrived, with Diego Leon and Enzo Kana-Biyik adding to those names after their signings were announced in January.
More importantly, many departures were sanctioned, with only Tyrell Malacia remaining of the exiled players by the time the English window closed.
United in Focus can exclusively reveal how Ineos assess this transfer window, as there is delight at achieving a key goal, and planning is underway for January.

Ineos on Man Utd’s transfer window
Man Utd went into the window with a couple of clear holes in the squad, and, broadly, they managed to address each except one.
Midfielder is the gaping hole left open, but that is only because they revamped their entire front line, which should hopefully produce results.
United in Focus understands that Manchester United are very happy with how the transfer window panned out and believe they have achieved almost all of their targets for the summer window.
United, though, are already making plans for the New Year and the future. In 2025, they feel they have addressed the squad that now makes it fit for purpose for Ruben Amorim.

Insider Graeme Bailey, speaking to United in Focus, added that the plans for January have been drawn up, but Jason Wilcox believes not much will need to happen then.
Bailey said: “They will assess the situation in January, but even then, they don’t feel, no matter what happens, that major changes will be required come the New Year.
“Jason Wilcox and the football department knew that Ruben Amorim’s system did not fit with this squad, but they have now built a squad capable of playing that.
“Whilst not the finished article, they realise that they are happy with what they have done thus far – very happy with the balance of the squad.”
Man Utd dressing room on transfer window
Despite the generally positive outlook of the transfer window, Man Utd haven’t had the best start to the season, and Ruben Amorim’s emotional outbursts have defined the season so far.
However, Bailey reports that the squad can see the plans being executed, and the underlying stats, which show progress, are being felt by the dressing room.
Bailey said: “They managed to move on the bomb squad too, and overall, from what I am hearing, is that the squad members themselves – early results aside – are happy. They can see progress and can see the plans that have been executed.”
The noise around Man Utd will always be at a fever-pitch, and mostly negative, so the squad needs to be united in the face of opposition.
Amorim seems to have achieved the cultural reset that was desperately needed, and the results getting better should be just around the corner if recent performances are any indication.
