SoFi Stadium showcases F&B line-up ahead of Rams home opener

SoFi Stadium welcomed members of the media this week for an exclusive preview of its wide-ranging food and beverage programme, just days before the Los Angeles Rams host the Houston Texans in their home-opening game this Sunday.

The Los Angeles venue, which also serves as the home field for the L.A. Chargers and will stage several major concerts this autumn, including two headlining performances by Chris Brown (Sept. 13–14), highlighted dozens of dishes available across its suites, clubs, and concession stands. Offerings ranged from tomahawk steaks to the stadium’s signature all-beef hot dog, described by regional executive chef Robert Biebrich of Legends for SoFi Stadium as the venue’s consistent top-seller.

“We sell about 8,000 hot dogs per game,” Biebrich told Billboard, adding that hamburgers and pizza rank second and third in popularity on game days. Fans can also find regional flavours inspired by Los Angeles neighbourhoods, showcased at concession stands organised by street name. Options include beef empanadas and al pastor tortas at Olvera Street, Asian-style fried chicken at Sawtelle, square pepperoni pizzas on San Vicente, and American classics like cheeseburgers and chicken strips at the Fairfax stand.

“We source the vast majority of our menu items locally and rely on our vendors to buy fresh from suppliers across Southern California. We are very blessed with the abundance of choices available to us,” Biebrich said.

Suites and club-level menus featured even more variety, such as Louisiana hot link sandwiches, bacon-wrapped L.A. street dogs, hand-cut sushi rolls, and breaded chicken cutlet sandwiches. Many dishes were inspired by popular street food, including BBQ-grilled sweet corn topped with cajun butter, hot sauce, and cheese, as well as loaded mac and cheese bowls with BBQ burnt pork ends and pickled onions. A standout on the menu is one of Biebrich’s personal favourites — the Texas Twinkie Burger — which replaces the classic snack cake with beef brisket and a cream cheese-stuffed jalapeño wrapped in bacon and finished with smoky barbecue sauce.

The tasting also introduced several speciality cocktails crafted for Rams and Chargers games. Highlights include the Ultra Michelada, made with Michelob Ultra, San Marzano tomatoes, ancho chiles, tamarindo, tajín, and a chamoy stick; and the Hail Mary Mule, blending Ketel One Vodka with Chinola liqueur, key lime agave, Fever Tree ginger beer, and a garnish of dehydrated citrus.

“We try to offer a wide selection, with items that are adventurous and daring, and those that feel a little more familiar and approachable,” Biebrich said. “The goal is that fans have a unique and memorable experience each time they visit SoFi Stadium and they feel good about the time they spent here.”
