With the window over and the September international break fully underway, Leeds United have four points from three games, which have included two of the Premier League’s Champions League clubs.
A massive win at Elland Road on the opening night against Everton, was followed by a drubbing against Arsenal and a shock loss to Sheffield Wednesday. Pride was restored with a 0-0 draw against Newcastle.
But the feeling among Leeds supporters is low, going into the break. A poor end to a transfer window, the defeat to Sheffield Wednesday and one goal in three league games has fans worried, despite four points.
But the doom and gloom of failing to sign Harry Wilson, while frustrating for Daniel Farke, the club and the fans, is not the end of the world. Leeds have made a solid start and Ethan Ampadu is returning soon.

Do Leeds have a chance of staying up? Neil Warnock thinks so…
Leeds now have a nicer run of fixtures, taking on Fulham and Wolves away before hosting Bournemouth and Tottenham. There is every chance that Leeds could go and get a win or two in these matches.
Especially with Ampadu returning, Joe Rodon fit despite his Wales withdrawal and as every day passes, Dominic Calvert-Lewin is fitter. Neil Warnock told TalkSPORT (04/09, 9.55AM) that Leeds have a chance.
“I like Daniel Farke. He got criticism for his time at Norwich. But he didn’t have any money, he had peanuts. So at least he has a chance, now. One or two good signings, they’ve got enough to stay up.”

The crucial element Leeds have missed during the summer
Robbie Evans has said this week that missing out on Harry Wilson was a bad end to a good window. There are positives, a much-improved defence and midfield, and a goalkeeper that has done his job.
MORE LEEDS UNITED STORIES
Nine of the 10 signings are above 6ft with Leeds attempting to make themselves more physical, difficult to beat, to compete and importantly, good at both defending and attacking set-pieces for The Whites.
But, Leeds have missed one crucial element. The man to supply the crosses from set-pieces. Joe Rothwell is gone and Wilson would have done this. Perhaps, Christian Eriksen might be the answer, a free agent.
