ANTOINE Semenyo has been nominated for August’s Premier League Goal of the Month.
The [Cherries](http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/cherries/clubnews/) forward earned the nomination for his sublime second goal against Liverpool on the opening day of the season.
Semenyo picked up the ball well within his own half and carried it all the way to the edge of the Liverpool box before feinting both centre-backs and finishing tidily into the bottom corner.
He finished the month on two goals and one assist which he was rewarded for with a nomination for Premier League Player of the Month as well.
The last time an AFC Bournemouth player was nominated for both Premier League Player and Goal of the Month was Justin Kluivert in January 2025.
