West Ham attacking midfielder Lucas Paqueta has been included in WhoScored.com ‘s Premier League Team of the Month.
The Brazilian international was given a rating of 7.33 for his performances against Sunderland, Chelsea and Nottingham Forest in August.
It has been an eventful summer for Paqueta, to say the least. He was acquitted of spot-fixing allegations before being linked with a move away from the London Stadium.

Both Tottenham and Aston Villa were mentioned as potential suitors but the 28-year-old did not leave before the transfer window shut on Monday.
Paqueta signalled his commitment to the Hammers after kissing the badge during the 3-0 win over Forest last weekend. The midfielder put away West Ham’s second of the game from the penalty spot. He also scored a howitzer to open the scoring in the previous Premier League fixture against Chelsea.
Who else joins the West Ham star in the PL Team of the Month?
Tottenham’s Guglielmo Vicario is selected in goal, with the back four comprising of Arsenal’s Jurrien Timber, Sunderland’s Daniel Ballard, as well as Chelsea pair Trevoh Chalobah and Marc Cucurella.
In midfield, Paqueta is joined by Manchester City’s Nico Gonzalez and Chelsea’s Moises Caicedo. The front three includes Everton’s Jack Grealish, Chelsea forward Joao Pedro and Tottenham’s Mohammed Kudus.
Paqueta now has greater support alongside him in midfield
Head coach Graham Potter has been desperate to recruit more versatile and technically gifted midfielders over the summer. Until the final few days of the window, it didn’t look like any would arrive.
However, the £38m signing of Southampton’s Mateus Fernandes and the addition of Monaco’s Soungoutou Magassa should give Paqueta better assistance in the middle of the park.
That victory at the City Ground wil also give Potter more time to bed in his new signings and build a team capable of moving up the table.
