Everton Women to open historic Goodison week

**Everton Women will open Goodison Park with two games in five days.**

Brian Sorensen’s side moved into to the club’s spiritual home after the men’s team moved to Hill Dickinson Stadium at the end of the previous campaign.

The Blues open their Women’s Super League campaign at Anfield in Sunday’s Merseyside derby before hosting back-to-back games.

Tottenham’s visit to the Grand Old Lady on Sunday, September 14 will be followed by a Friday night encounter with newcomers London City Lionesses.

Goodison has become the biggest dedicated women’s stadium in Britain after owners The Friedkin Group confirmed Everton’s move from Walton Hall Park.

Hannah Forshaw, Everton Women’s CEO, said: “Our move to Goodison Park underlines the ambition of the club and our ownership.

“Goodison Park is more than bricks and mortar, it is a stadium with a soul which means so much to so many people.

“To be embarking on this new era for the stadium and for Everton Women is something that is hugely exciting, and something that I’m keen to ensure is a journey we take in conjunction with our existing fans, and also with the new fans we are keen to welcome to the women’s game.

“Having the biggest dedicated women’s stadium in the country here in our city is something we can all be immensely proud of.”

Catering across will be delivered by the club’s official partner Aramark, with kiosks open across all three stands and serving a variety of options, including sausage rolls, sandwich wraps, sticky Korean chicken, vegetarian dishes, crisps, chocolate, popcorn and a new Everton Women’s doughnut.

Outside the stadium, fans can enjoy a family-friendly Fan Zone, featuring a mobile gaming vehicle carrying the latest consoles and games, music and team news on the Fan Zone stage, face painters, and a selection of food, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages.

Inside, the matchday experience will include live entertainment with international DJ and Evertonian Ash Wozza, live vocal and guitar music on the concourse with Ben Helm, alongside face painters and balloon artists to keep younger supporters entertained throughout the afternoon.

As part of a WSL pilot programme, Goodison Park will also trial the responsible consumption of alcohol in seats throughout the season.

A range of drinks including beer, wine, cider, prosecco, and canned/bottled spirits and cocktails will be available from kiosks and the Fan Zone.

To ensure an inclusive and family-friendly environment, an alcohol-free family area will remain in the Enclosure, between the Park End and home dugout.

Enhanced stewarding and safety measures will also be in place to support a safe, enjoyable experience for all.

Full matchday guides will be available on evertonfc.com, giving fans an insight into the matchday experience and activities ahead of each game and sent directly to supporters by email prior to home fixtures.

Season tickets are currently on sale, with supporters able to purchase seating in the Park End, The Enclosure and Lower Gwladys Street End.

Adult season tickets are priced at just £100, with under-18s able to secure their place for £50 – offering outstanding value at approximately £4 per match.

Supporters seated in the Enclosure will also have access to concourses and further facilities in the Park Stand or Gwladys Street respectively.

Due to expected demand, additional seating has been made available in both the Park End and Gwladys Street.
