The reported wage of Wrexham loanee Issa Kabore has now been shared following transfer

Wrexham snapped up Issa Kabore from Manchester City on the final day of the transfer window.

Going into deadline day, it looked as though Wrexham wanted to sign a new midfielder and a centre-back.

Ben Sheaf joined from Coventry City to fill the void in the middle of the park.

At centre-back, Wrexham paid £2.7m for Dom Hyam of Blackburn Rovers on Monday.

Elsewhere, a link that came out of nowhere saw Wrexham targeting Issa Kabore of Manchester City.

Despite a delay in the deal, Kabore’s signing was confirmed several hours after the transfer window slammed shut.

The right-back has agreed to spend the 2025/26 season on loan at the Racecourse Ground.

Man City boss Pep Guardiola has praised Kabore previously and he’s expected to excel at Wrexham.

While there is no reported loan fee involved in signing the defender, the Dragons are are still expected to be paying some form of fee for his wages.

According to Capology, who have added the loanee to Wrexham’s salary page this week, Kabore is currently earning £15,000-a-week or £780,000 across one year.

That figure, if Wrexham are paying it all, means he is one of the highest earners at the Racecourse, though several of the new arrivals’ wages, such as Lewis O’Brien and Kieffer Moore, are not currently public.
