Leeds man on feeling love from transfer suitors – Convinced move can help him

Leeds United winger Largie Ramazani has insisted his loan spell at Valencia this season can benefit him this season.

He’s already been making an impact for them, bagging an assist within ten minutes on his debut just a day after signing from Leeds on loan.

The transfer marks a return to Spain for the 24-year-old, who had previously spent four years at Almeria after joining them on a free transfer in 2020. He joined Leeds last summer for €7.7m but struggled for gametime last season, despite seven goals and two assists in just 963 minutes of action.

He was asked what was lacking at Leeds and whether this move was some sort of revenge but instead insisted that “coming here can help me a lot”.

He was also asked what he felt when Valencia first called him, to which he replied, “the love of the club” and whether the Spanish side convinced him. “I’ve played against Valencia CF many times; the club convinced me,” he said.

It now remains to be seen if Ramazani can get back on track in Spain. His move doesn’t include a purchase option, so he could end up back at Leeds next summer either way.

For now, it appears he’s focused on impressing at Valencia and “give my best, enjoy my game, and help the team.”
