Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Sasa Kalajdzic could be set for a post deadline day departure back to his native Austria.
That’s according to Oberösterreichische Nachrichten, via Sport.orf, who report that LASK are making a late move for him.
According to their information, the Austrian club are planning to sign the 28-year-old Wolves striker on loan until the end of the season.
They’re seeking late additions to their squad before the Austrian transfer window closes on Friday and the striker, who has only just returned for Wolves after an injury layoff of over 500 days, is on their list.
Kalajdzic had been out since February 2024 when he suffered his third cruciate ligament injury and has made it clear he just wants regular playing time that season.
Whether that’s on offer at Wolves is up for debate, particularly as Jorgen Strand Larsen ended up staying this summer, and it seems LASK will ask the question before their window closes on Friday.
Kalajdzic has also been linked with a move to newly promoted Serie A side Cremonese. That would have been a loan deal with a purchase option of €5m and it remains to be seen if LASK offer something similar.
