‘Too many mistakes, not working’ – Suggestion club already regret rejecting €30m+ Crystal Palace offer

On Tuesday, Gazzetta dello Sport reported Crystal Palace had two attempts rejected for Inter Milan’s Yann Bisseck in the summer transfer window.

Inter managed to send Benjamin Pavard to Marseille, and given the French internationa is older it was thought that was the better deal to do.

Today’s Gazzetta has a contrasting stance. They note there are ‘too many mistakes, it’s not working’ as the 24-year-old made errors in Inter’s loss to Udinese. His lack of consistency since last season is now causing concern at the Italian club.

The Italian newspaper state Crystal Palace offered €32m for Bisseck, and there appears to be a growing regret that this was knocked back. Indeed, the Eagles are thought to have made two attempts, and each time they were shown away by Inter Milan who believed the defender’s value could rise further.

Bisseck could now be benched before being eased back into the starting team, depending on how others perform in his absence.
