Marc Guéhi, Dean Henderson and Adam Wharton were all called up by England's senior side for the Three Lions’ upcoming pair of World Cup qualifiers.
It was subsequently confirmed, however, that Wharton was not able to report for duty due to injury.
Guéhi and Henderson have all started the season in excellent form, helping the Eagles to four clean sheets in six competitive matches – which have also seen us win the Community Shield and advance in the UEFA Conference League – so far this season. The duo will be hoping to add to their respective 23 and three caps respectively.
England first face Andorra next Saturday (6th September, 17:00 BST) at Villa Park, before travelling to Serbia the following Tuesday (9th September, 19:45).
With three wins out of three matches so far, Thomas Tuchel’s side sit top of Group K in World Cup qualification.
In addition to Wharton, two other senior Eagles were called up for their national teams, but withdrew due to injury.
New signing Yeremy Pino will not participate for Spain this international window, nor will Ismaïla Sarr for Senegal.
