Man United's 'goalkeeper stance' revealed as Amorim faces major derby call

Manchester United are reportedly willing to sell either Andre Onana or Altay Bayindir, with both believed to be drawing attention from Turkey and Saudi Arabia.

The Turkish transfer window does not close until September 12, while clubs in Saudi Arabia have until September 23 to make new signings, so there could still be some high-profile departures from European clubs in the coming weeks.

Bayindir has started the season as Man United's number one goalkeeper, with the Turkey international given the nod for the league games against Arsenal, Fulham and Burnley.

Onana, meanwhile, played the full 90 minutes of the EFL Cup second-round clash with Grimsby Town, with the Cameroon international making two mistakes which led to goals, before only saving one of the League Two side's 12 penalties in the shootout at the end of the contest.

Bayindir has also looked unsure in the Premier League, and Senne Lammens was signed on transfer deadline day, with the 23-year-old making the move to Old Trafford from Royal Antwerp.

Man United 'willing to sell' Onana or Bayindir

There are no guarantees that Lammens will immediately come into the XI as the number one, and it will be fascinating to see who is between the sticks for the Manchester derby on September 14.

However, the expectation is that Lammens will be first choice sooner or later, and according to The Sun, either Onana or Bayindir are expected to leave in the near future.

It is understood that clubs from both Turkey and Saudi Arabia are keeping a close eye on the situation, with Trabzonspor the latest side to be linked with Onana.

Bayindir started the season as the number one due to a hamstring issue for Onana, with the Cameroonian missing pre-season, but he struggled badly in the clash with Grimsby in the EFL Cup.

Will Lammens start the Manchester derby?

Man United head coach Ruben Amorim has a major decision on his hands for the Premier League clash against Manchester City after the international break.

Lammens is not in the current Belgium squad, so he will have had time to settle into his new surroundings before the Manchester derby, but the full squad will not be back together until the end of next week.

The goalkeeper has already made four appearances for Antwerp this season, so he should be match ready, and the right decision is to throw him straight in against the Citizens, as neither Bayindir or Onana are close to being good enough to be Man United's first-choice goalkeeper.
