Manchester United are expected to sanction the departure of Andre Onana or Altay Bayindir despite the transfer window already being shut for Premier League sides as influential figures at Old Trafford have remained in active discussions with overseas admirers over a last-minute deal, GIVEMESPORT sources have revealed.
Red Devils head coach Ruben Amorim improved his options between the sticks on deadline day, thanks to Senne Lammens completing an £18.2million switch from Jupiler Pro League outfit Royal Antwerp, after already splashing the cash on the likes of Benjamin Sesko, Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha in attack.
The out-of-favour Jadon Sancho and Antony were offloaded earlier this week, with the latter joining Real Betis in a £21.7million deal a matter of months after he enjoyed a productive loan spell with the La Liga outfit, but Manchester United are still aiming to make alterations to their squad.
Red Devils Prepared to Sell Onana or Bayindir
Andre Onana in action for Manchester United against Lyon
Manchester United are listening to offers for Onana and Bayindir beyond the Premier League's summer transfer deadline, according to GMS sources, and Portuguese tactician Amorim is expected to give one of them the green light to embark on a fresh challenge during the current international break.
The duo, who are on contracts which allow them to pocket a combined total of £155,000-per-week, have made errors in the early stages of the season and there is doubt over who will be included in the matchday squad for upcoming fixtures after fellow goalkeeper Lammens sealed a last-gasp switch.
GMS sources have been informed that Manchester United have been attempting to discover whether it would be possible to sell Onana, who kept 11 clean sheets over the course of 50 appearances last term, or Bayindir to a side competing in a division where the transfer window has remained open.
Andre Onana's statistics for Manchester United this season
Lammens was so desperate to join the Red Devils that he turned down the opportunity to join domestic counterparts Aston Villa, even though the Midlands outfit's offer was more lucrative, and he is in line to battle for a regular starting berth as he continues adjusting to his new surroundings.
Manchester United are still engaging in talks with Onana and Bayindir's suitors, GMS sources have learned, with moves to Saudi Arabia or Turkey being explored as key decision-makers do not want both of them competing to be the preferred shot-stopper after dipping into the market.
Amorim Refuses to Give Game Time Promise

GMS sources have been told that Amorim has refused to give Lammens, Onana or Bayindir assurances over the amount of game time they can expect at Manchester United, meaning that those who remain at Old Trafford will have to fight for their position in the side over the course of the season.
The Red Devils have already conceded four Premier League goals this term, while they lost to a fourth-tier side for the first time in their history when they were knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Grimsby Town last month, leading to all goalkeepers at the club being assessed before the return to domestic action.
Onana or Bayindir are likely to seal their exit in the coming days, GMS sources understand, but Manchester United are not planning to allow both of them to move onto pastures new as they do not want to find themselves in a position where they have limited options between the sticks.
GMS sources recently revealed that members of the Red Devils' hierarchy are more open to offloading captain Bruno Fernandes than Kobbie Mainoo, which resulted in the latter being denied the chance to make a loan switch in the final hours of the summer transfer window when he has been concerned about his lack of starts.
