David Moyes has no doubt been a success since his return to Everton in early 2025.
The Scotsman quickly moved the Toffees away from the Premier League relegation zone, with the Merseyside club now dreaming about European football once again.
As a result, Moyes has been heavily praised at Everton as he continues to get results.
Now, after Everton’s 3-2 victory over Wolves, the Scotsman’s talents in the dugout have received recognition once again.

David Moyes nominated for Manager of the Month award
Despite Everton’s 1-0 defeat to Leeds United on the opening game week, it has been a solid start to the season for the Toffees.
MORE TOFFEES STORIES
After three matches, Moyes’ side sit fifth in the Premier League table, after back-to-back victories.
As a result of the Toffees’ form, the Scotsman has been nominated for the Premier League Manager of the Month award, with Everton’s official X page posting about the news on 4 September.
Here, Moyes will be competing against Sunderland’s Regis Le Bris, Liverpool’s Arne Slot and Chelsea’s Enzo Maresca for the award.
The Scotsman has won the award multiple times in the past, picking up his 11th in March, sending him up to third in the all-time list of winners.
However, as it stands, he is currently level with Pep Guardiola. Therefore, if he were to win, he would overtake the Manchester City manager.

How has the most all-time Premier League Manager of the Month awards?
Unsurprisingly, Sir Alex Ferguson has the most awards at 27 for his legendary time at Manchester United.
Following him is Arsene Wenger, with 15 for his successful period at Arsenal.
Most Premier League Manager of the Month awards
Sir Alex Ferguson 27
Arsene Wenger 15
David Moyes and Pep Guardiola 11
Jurgen Klopp 10
Moyes could finally overtake Guardiola
Therefore, it is very much plausible that Moyes could overtake the Frenchman at some point in the future, especially if he keeps up the good work at Everton.
Behind Moyes and Guardiola is Jurgen Klopp with 10 for his time at Liverpool.
