We have finally gotten our first look at Football Manager 26 gameplay after Sports Interactive dropped their first trailer for the upcoming game.
The latest edition of the long-running series has experienced a troubled development cycle which forced the studio to skip last year’s release.
FM25 was twice delayed before it was ultimately cancelled as the developers struggled to complete the game on a new engine, Unity.
Sports Interactive were heavily criticised by disappointed fans at the time, but there is now light at the end of the tunnel for gamers who have been waiting patiently for the next instalment of the franchise.
Football Manager 26 gameplay revealed in first trailer
A trailer featuring 72 seconds of Football Manager 26 footage was released on Thursday, showing off enhanced graphics, visual details and player animations in the new match engine.
Stadiums, crowds and player actions look much improved when compared to previous editions of the game, although we did not get a look at what the new user interface will look like.
Many of the new features, including women’s football, that were promised in FM25 are set to be included when FM26 presumably releases in early November.
