Everton couldn’t do everything all in one summer transfer window so there are still areas of the squad David Moyes would like to improve.
It’s well documented that Moyes wanted a right-back and tried to sign Barcelona’s Hector Fort after missing out on Kenny Tete earlier in the window.
So, come the January transfer window, that will be one area Moyes and his chiefs will look to strengthen in.
The Everton manager was also in the market for a striker even after signing Thierno Barry and now with Yousseff Chermiti gone, there is an evident need to get one more centre-forward through the door at Finch Farm.
At the moment, it’s just Beto and Thierno Barry competing, so with that said, here are three options the Toffees should consider.

William Osula (Newcastle United)
If Everton do decide to go back in for a striker this January, Newcastle United’s William Osula should be right at the top of their shortlist.
Osula is still raw and has lots of areas of his game to improve, but his physicality and hold-up play would be valuable to Moyes.
The 22-year-old has bags of potential, too, and could one day become the main man at Everton under Moyes’ tutelage.

Osula netted against Liverpool earlier this season with a neat left-footed finish, and he has a prolific record with Denmark’s under-21s.
Osula is also close friends with Iliman Ndiaye, interestingly.
Mihailo Ivanovic (Millwall)
Everton actually explored a deal to sign Mihailo Ivanovic in the summer window after his impressive debut season in the Championship with Millwall.
Ivanovic, who doesn’t celebrate his 21st birthday until November, netted 12 league goals for Alex Neil’s side last term.
The Serbia international has drawn comparisons to Aleksandar Mitrovic and admits he’s inspired by the former Fulham frontman.
“I used to watch Mitrovic play in England growing up,” Ivanovic told Mirror Football.
“When I scored my first goal, I thought, yeah, I need to do this [Mitrovic’s celebration] because he’s my idol and he was a beast in the Championship. I hope he is not angry!”
Ivanovic would be a good option for Everton because there would be no immediate expectation for him to perform, so he could develop at a nice pace.
