The NFL is a quarterback’s league, and all teams go through a whole lot to find their guys.
You just can’t win at the highest level without an elite quarterback.
With that in mind, former NFL QB Dan Orlovsky put together quite an interesting list.
In the latest edition of ESPN’s First Take, he chose the top-five quarterbacks approaching elite status.
Dan Orlovsky’s top 5 QBs that are approaching “elite” status:
1: Jayden Daniels
2: Jordan Love
3: Justin Herbert
4: Kyler Murray
5: CJ Stroud

At No. 5, he chose C.J. Stroud of the Houston Texans.
Stroud looked like a superstar in the making in his first season, only to regress in year two.
This will be a crucial campaign to show whether he’s got it or not.
Then, he chose Kyler Murray.
The Arizona Cardinals veteran has been around long enough for anybody to say that he’s about to take a leap.
Chances are that he’s a finished product at this point, especially given the injury and character concerns.
Then, he chose Justin Herbert at No. 3.
Herbert is one of the most athletic quarterbacks out there.
Unfortunately, he has left plenty to be desired in crucial moments for the Los Angeles Chargers.
Jordan Love then got the nod at No. 2.
The Green Bay Packers gave him an elite weapon in Matthew Golden.
Now, he has to show that he’s closer to the player he was two years ago than he was last season.
Last but not least, he chose Jayden Daniels.
The Washington Commanders’ star is the most promising quarterback in the game.
However, he still needs to prove that last year’s success wasn’t a fluke.
