When it comes to his health, Brett Favre is having a rough time:
In 2024, Favre announced that he was “recently diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease” while testifying on Capitol Hill.
It was a shocking revelation that nobody saw coming amid his issues. Favre was diagnosed with the condition in January 2024 but didn’t reveal his status to the public until September.
It has been well over a year since his diagnosis, and things have not gotten better for the former NFL MVP and Super Bowl champion.

He relayed that he is dealing with stiffness on his right side, difficulty swallowing, and he deals with terrible tremors daily.
He is only 55-years-old.
A lot has been said about Favre due to his ongoing controversy involving the misuse of welfare funds in Mississippi. Social media can be quite unforgiving towards anybody who has allegedly wronged others. Favre will have to lean on his loved ones for sympathy going forward.

Favre, who played 20 NFL seasons, knows his time to depart Earth could come at any time, which is why he already has plans for that day.
Brett Favre announced in early 2025 that he is willing to donate his brain for Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy research after his death.
The former Green Bay Packers quarterback dealt with a number of concussions throughout his 20-year career in the NFL.
The 55-year-old stated that at the time, he hoped that doctors could discover new treatments for others.
When asked by TMZ Sports if he’d want doctors to check his brain after he dies, Favre said, “I have no problems with them studying [my brain].”
