Manchester City have two players in their ranks who will “make a difference” this season, according to Neil Warnock.
Manchester City were busy strengthening their ranks over the summer in what has been a real ‘changing of the guard’ at the Etihad Stadium.
The likes of Gianluigi Donnarumma, Tijjani Reijnders, Rayan Ait-Nouri and Rayan Cherki joined City, while the likes of Ederson, Kevin De Bruyne and Kyle Walker left.
Sadly, City still have a lot of work to do after losing their first two games, but Neil Warnock reckons one of their new signings will make a difference alongside Rodri.

Neil Warnock says Gianluigi Donnarumma will ‘make such a difference’ alongside Rodri
Man City’s signing of Donnarumma has split opinion among fans and neutrals alike.

Those in favour of the signing have pointed to his superb shot-stopping and game-changing efforts that have seen him win the biggest trophies for club and country.
Meanwhile, others have said Donnarumma’s distribution isn’t great, while some suggested that fellow new signing James Trafford has been hard done by.
Warnock is certainly in favour of City signing Donnarumma, suggesting he will be one of their better players this season alongside the returning Rodri.
“Rodri… I mean, Rodri makes a difference,” Warnock said on talkSPORT while analysing City’s loss at Brighton.
“And you look at some of the forward play and, I mean, I’m quite excited with the forward play.
“I think the goalkeeper will make such a difference, honestly, and that’s what this lad does.”

What Joe Hart has said about Gianluigi Donnarumma which goes against the grain
One of the biggest criticisms of City signing Donnarumma is about his distribution, which is not quite at the same level as that of Ederson.
Indeed, critics pointed to how Guardiola ruthlessly froze out Joe Hart when he joined City as distribution was not one of his strengths.
However, Hart himself recently discussed the topic and said something about Donnarumma which flies in the face of what has been said about him.
Namely, that Donnarumma is “more than capable” with his feet, suggesting the £30million signing’s distribution will not be a problem for Guardiola.
“He is capable with his feet, more than capable,” Hart said on BBC Sport. “I’ve watched him play under pressure for Italy, I’ve watched him from 16 years old.
“There’s a man that can hold his nerve. For AC Milan all the way through and then he goes to PSG and helps to win their first Champions League trophy.”
