Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has let the cat out of the bag about some plans the team has this season.

Every NFL team has their secrets, especially when it comes to secret plays that they plan to use on their biggest rivals. Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen certainly has a lot of things that he would never spill the beans on when it comes to how the Bills plan to get to the championship this season. But, Allen is also human and sometimes lets a few things slip.

So, it’s not surprising that during an interview about the team, Allen spilled the beans about a little thing the Buffalo Bills have planned for the upcoming season. Don’t worry, though, because it’s not something that should hurt their chances of doing well. He would never dish on something that private.

Ahead of the start of the season, Allen sat down with FanSided’s Sterling Holmes to talk about the year ahead and what the Bills are doing to get ready. He let the cat out of the bag, as they say, about something the Bills signal-caller has planned for the 2025-26 season.

Josh Allen Dishes on Special Buffalo Bills Plans

Speaking with Holmes in the interview, Allen was asked if he has a touchdown celebration planned already or if he just keeps it spontaneous each time. That’s when Allen revealed his big touchdown plans with the team this season.

“Every time I score, I wing it, but the first rushing touchdown that I get hopefully this year, God willing, I’m doing the Fat Perez Euro Step,” Allen said.

Anyone who is big into golf knows that Fat Perez is the golf personality Nick Stubbe who has a popular YouTube channel. So, he would be going for that famed Fat Perez Euro Step celebration.

Allen has actually played Perez in golf, and that’s what made him think of this as a celebration.

“I owed him one. He beat me in a match last year, in golf, so I promised him I would do it,” Allen said, and he’s a man to make good on his promises. “And then when I score, like, your mind just kind of blacks out, you know. Unless you’re like practicing something, you forget it, and I didn’t do it last year.”

Allen added, “So I promised him the first rushing rushing touchdown that I had this year, I will do it. So hopefully, game day Josh in between the white lines can remember that.”

Josh Allen Named No. 1 in the NFL

Allen is a superstar quarterback, and that’s why he’s topping so many best-of rosters heading into the season. The Athletic’s Jeff Howe names Allen No. 1 in his quarterback rankings of the 2025-26 season. He has Allen No. 1, followed by Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals and Patrick Mahomes of the Chiefs.

“As reigning MVP Josh Allen, two-time MVP Lamar Jackson and Joe Burrow have each elevated their games, it’s fair to say Mahomes has company in the QB penthouse,” he notes. An executive in the NFL added, “(Mahomes) is in a league of his own because of the winning and championships. But the other (three) guys right now are playing better.”

So, Allen is getting some big props wherever he turns. Get ready for an important season for the MVP winner.
