LAKE FOREST, Ill., — The Chicago Bears are getting ready for Week 1 as they get set to host the Minnesota Vikings on Monday Night Football in just a few days. The Bears didn't practice on Thursday but did release an injury report with designations based on if they would have practiced.
And there are some notable names on it, including linebacker T.J. Edwards.
The linebacker was listed as Did Not Practice as he's dealing with a hamstring injury he suffered last week. Edwards left practice last week with the injury and has not been out there since. Hamstring injuries can be tricky and with the game just a few days away, the Bears likely don't want to push it. However, there's a chance that Edwards won't play which means the Bears will turn to Noah Sewell to play alongside Tremaine Edmunds.

Along with Edwards, the Bears listed DB Josh Blackwell (groin) and running back Roschon Johnson (foot) as DNP.
There was some good news on the injury front as defensive back Jaylon Johnson was limited as he deals with a groin injury. Johnson practiced on Wednesday but the team did not release an injury report. Rookie running back Kyle Monangai was also limited with a hamstring injury. Wide receiver Devin Duvernay and defensive lineman Dominque Robinson were but full participants.
