Friday, September 5 marks 22 weeks since the 78-year-old was admitted to hospital after a serious fall, which left him needing emergency surgery.
A fundraiser for the Wolves legend that has raised over £7,500 is still running, while a new event set up by friends of Phil from his time at Marstons Football Club will aim to raise much needed funds for the family too.

A fundraiser for legendary Wolves goalkeeper Phil 'Lofty' Parkes will take place later this month
'Showtime in aid of the Phil 'Lofty' Parkes recovery fund' will take place on Friday, September 26 at Jones Road Working Men's Club, with live performances from Jonathan and Emily Jones.
Money from the event will go towards renovating the Parkes' family home, which due to Phil's injuries will need to be made accessible for a wheelchair.

Lofty's son Dean said his father was "in good spirits" during a visit to him in hospital, but added despite being in hospital for 22 weeks there is still "no sign" of when he will be able to leave.
