The former Man Utd star is still without a club after he was released earlier in the summer.
Swedish club Malmo FF have released a statement to deny they have any plans to sign former Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen. The 33-year-old is still a free agent after he was released by United at the end of last season upon expiry of his contract.
Eriksen has yet to agree terms with any club this summer and was left out of the latest Denmark squad due to his lack of match sharpness. Earlier this week, Denmark boss Brian Riemer admitted the decision to omit the midfielder was 'close to being the biggest dilemma' he has ever had in management.
The former United player was invited to train with Malmo on Thursday in order to maintain fitness, but the Swedish club quickly moved to shootdown any suggestions he would be offered a contract.

A club statement released after the session read: "Temporary visit to today's training. Christian Eriksen takes the opportunity to train with former teammates from Brentford and the Danish national team. We want to clarify that this is about a training session and not a transfer."
Malmo had to submit their final squad for the Europa League league phase in midweek and it means Eriksen would not be able to feature for them in European competition unless they reached the knockout rounds. It was never likely they would sign such a high-profile player who would be unable to feature for them in Europe.
Speaking this week, Malmo sporting director Daniel Andersson explained why it was a positive for Malmo to have such an experienced player around training. "Christian is a good player, and a nice guy. We want to have a good level in our training sessions.
"And he can certainly help with that, to be an inspiration. He asked "AC" (Anders Christiansen) if it would be OK for him to join us. We won't train from Friday to Sunday, but if he is involved with us next week it won't do any harm. He is obviously a good player, so it's not like he will ruin anything - in fact quite the contrary."
Andersson added: "Our window is now closed, and I've not yet thought about how he could fit in with us. Right now we are helping him, and it is a fun and inspiring thing for our players."
