Leeds managing director Robbie Evans has already revealed that the presence of Jack Harrison in the squad played a role in Ramazani’s loan exit.
The Whites managed to ensure there is no buy option in the loan agreement with Valencia, but forego the right to recall him in the winter transfer window.
According to Leeds Live, it was clear early in the summer that Farke was not going to give him many minutes in the team this season.
The 25-year-old joined Leeds last summer. He played fewer than 800 minutes in the Championship, making just seven league starts, the last of which came in December.
There were also concerns that he would struggle against the strength of better Premier League defenders, and a loan move made sense to the club hierarchy.
The Whites are hopeful that Ramazani will return a better player next season, and he could be reintegrated into Farke’s first team ahead of the 2026/27 season.
There are also suggestions that Leeds could cash in and get more money for the winger if he bumps up his value with his performances in Spain.
