Portugal’s Rúben Dias said on Friday in Yerevan that the Armenian national football team can be a ‘dangerous’ opponent.
Dias made the remarks at a pre-match press conference.
The Armenia vs. Portugal first leg UEFA Group F European qualifier for the 2026 FIFA World Cup will take place in Yerevan on September 6.
“We’ve had a few opportunities to study the Armenian national football team. The Armenian team can be a dangerous opponent. They have good quality players,” the Portugal defender said.
