Arsenal will be relieved that the summer transfer window is now a thing of the past and they can concentrate on the job at hand.
The Gunners have been busy over the last few months, strengthening Mikel Arteta's squad. Several new faces have made their way to the Emirates Stadium, with deals being finalised right up until Monday's deadline. Arsenal's last acquisition of the window was Piero Hincapie, the defender from Bayer Leverkusen.
Hincapie joins on a season-long loan from the German outfit, but it's anticipated that he'll become a permanent member of the Arsenal team once the season wraps up. And while Arsenal might have been hoping for a breather during the international break, they've had to keep their noses to the grindstone.
Offers for their star players continue to roll in, as other transfer windows remain open, and they're also keeping a close watch on their current roster due to an escalating injury crisis in North London. With that in mind, here's a roundup of the latest news from the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal receive Trossard bid

Despite the English transfer window being closed, Turkish clubs are still able to conduct business.
It seems Besiktas have set their sights on Arsenal's Leandro Trossard, aiming to secure his services before their own transfer window shuts, reports the Mirror.
Turkish publication Sozcu reports that negotiations between the two clubs are underway, with Besiktas having already submitted an initial bid for Trossard. They're said to have offered €22m (£19m).
A response from Arsenal is expected imminently. The 30-year-old only penned a fresh contract in the summer, though has scarcely featured so far this campaign.
Martinelli stance confirmed

Another player who had been linked with an exit was Brazilian winger Gabriel Martinelli.
According to reports, Arsenal were willing to offload the 24-year-old, but no club met their valuation.
Numerous sides were reportedly keen, with Arsenal hoping to pocket around £60m from his departure. But none of the interested parties were willing to exceed the £40m threshold, which resulted in him remaining at the Emirates.
Martinelli's existing contract runs until 2027. He has featured twice so far for Arsenal this season and is yet to find the net.
Walcott slams Martinelli
Sticking with Martinelli, former Arsenal striker Theo Walcott has criticised the Brazilian for 'messing up' in the recent loss to Liverpool.

He remarked on the It's Called Soccer podcast: "Szoboszlai wasn't tested at all. You've got a centre-midfield player at full-back, that's music to my ears.
"But not at one point did Martinelli do his strengths. If you overthink things as a winger, you mess up."
