**Nottingham Forest Women sign midfielder Tove Almqvist on a three-year deal from Swedish side Djurgården.**
She has also played for Linköpings and Vittsjö GIK, winning the Damallsvenskan twice as well as the Swedish League Cup a couple of times.
**Head Coach, Carly Davies, told [nottinghamforest.co.uk](http://www.nottinghamforest.co.uk):** “We’re delighted to welcome Tove to Nottingham Forest.
“She’s an experienced player who has competed at the highest level in Sweden. Tove’s creativity and intelligence on the ball will add a new dimension to our play, and her winning mentality will be a huge asset to the squad.
