Obr Staff Roundtable: Predicting the Score of the Cleveland Browns vs Cincinnati Bengals

**Browns 23**

**Bengals 17**

The Bengals have routinely started slow, and the Browns have played them well. The Browns have often enjoyed a coaching advantage in this matchup. Maybe preseason will prove to be a poor indicator, but the Bengals' defense has been downright terrible at stopping the run. The Browns' defensive line should be a consistent problem for the Bengals, limiting the running game and putting pressure and hits on Joe Burrow, which could result in turnovers, potentially a defensive score.

**Browns 24**

**Bengals 20**

The Cincinnati Bengals have tried many different ways to avoid slow starts, and have never found the answer. Myles  Garrett has been an absolute problem for the Bengals from day one, and it doesn't look like there's any slowing him down anytime soon. Cincinnati has suffered all summer in stopping the run, which should be the advantage the Browns need. Joe Flacco is gonna have to make some timely throws, but the Browns will walk out of week one with a victory.

Fred Greetham:

**Browns 23**

**Bengals 21**

The Browns might not have a great season, but Joe Flacco will have a good season debut in leading the Browns to just enough points to get the win. The defense has played well in matchups with the Bengals, and the defensive line will be pressuring Joe Burrow from the start of the game, holding the high-powered Bengals down just enough to get the win.

Jacob Roach:

**Browns 23**

**Bengals 20**

The Bengals' defense isn't very good, and I think the Browns will look to slow the game down by running the ball and playing stingy defense. Myles Garrett and the rest of the Browns' defensive front will get after Joe Burrow early and often to get him rattled, but they won't be able to shut that high-powered offense down completely. Joe Flacco will need to limit mistakes and give his playmakers a chance to make plays. In the end, the offense will have just enough firepower to get the job done and start the season 1-0.
