Despite the summer transfer window being firmly shut for Manchester United, there's still scope for further deals to be finalised. United welcomed a total of five new faces during the summer window, with Diego Leon's arrival having been agreed earlier in the year.
The Red Devils also secured the services of Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo, Benjamin Sesko and Senne Lammens before Monday's 7pm deadline. However, the summer window also saw several departures from United's ranks.
Alejandro Garnacho, Marcus Rashford (loan), Antony, Jadon Sancho (loan), Christian Eriksen (free transfer) and Rasmus Hojlund (loan with buy obligation) were among those who left United prior to the transfer window slamming shut. While United will have to bide their time until January to bring in any fresh talent, it's feasible that some squad members could still depart in the coming days, thanks to transfer windows in other countries remaining open.
For example, Turkey's transfer window remains open for another week, not closing until 12 September. This leaves room for potential further exits from United before they resume Premier League duties following the international break, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Tyrell Malacia was strongly linked with a move away from United over the summer and had expressed his wish to leave Old Trafford. There has also been considerable speculation surrounding Andre Onana's future at United, particularly after the club opted to sign Lammens from Royal Antwerp.
It's yet to be seen what the Red Devils have in store for the coming week, and whether Super Lig clubs will show interest in any of their players. As for new signings, that will have to wait until January but there are already rumours of potential new additions being lined up.
Bournemouth star Antoine Semenyo has been linked with a move to United over the last few days. There have also been reports that Barcelona playmaker Fermin Lopez may be a player of interest.
United still have more than a week to wait before they return to Premier League action after the international break. Amorim and Co. will take on Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium in the Manchester derby on September 14.
