Besiktas is reportedly making a late push to sign Arsenal attacker Leandro Trossard before the Turkish transfer window closes.

According to a report from Turkish outlet Sozcu, the 30-year-old Belgian international has emerged as a key target for the Süper Lig giants as they look to strengthen their attacking options.

The Black Eagles are said to be intensifying their efforts to secure Trossard’s services, with Arsenal reportedly demanding a transfer fee of around €22 million for the versatile player.

Since joining Arsenal from Brighton & Hove Albion in January 2023, Trossard has been a reliable utility player for manager Mikel Arteta. His ability to play in multiple attacking positions has made him a valuable backup option.

However, Trossard’s playing time has been limited since Arsenal signed Noni Madueke and Eberechi Eze this summer. He has only played 37 minutes in one match so far this season, which may have put his future at the club in doubt.

With the Turkish transfer window nearing its close, Besiktas is hoping to capitalize on the situation.

The club is in need of a versatile attacker after the departure of Semih Kilicsoy and sees Trossard as a viable target. While there were reports that Trossard was set to sign a new contract with Arsenal just a few weeks ago, a departure now seems possible.
