Barcelona midfielder Gavi may be set for more time on the sidelines as he’s still struggling to shrug off some pain in his right knee.
A new report from RAC1 states that Gavi’s “discomfort in his right knee persists” and the coaching staff are “considering not having him play in the Barça-Valencia match as a precaution.”
Barcelona are due to take on Valencia in their first home game of the season after the international break on September 14.
Losing Gavi for the game would be a blow, particularly with Alejandro Balde also set to miss the match with a hamstring injury.
