Sunderland’s Milan Aleksić is on his way to join KS Cracovia on a loan deal with an option to buy.
That’s according to Meczyki.pl, who report the Polish club are set to sign the 20-year-old before the transfer window in Poland closes on Monday.
The outlet hasn’t mentioned of Cracovia reaching an agreement with Sunderland, but this could have been sorted out considering the midfielder has already travelled to Poland to complete the transfer.
Aleksić spent two years with Partizan Belgrade’s academy and moved to another Serbian club, Radnički 1923, in 2023.
Towards the end of last summer window, they sold him to the Black Cats, but this move hasn’t really worked out well for the Serbia U21 international as he played 348 minutes from nine games last season.
The player’s situation hasn’t improved with the Premier League newcomers this season as he made one [substitute] appearance in the EFL Cup against Huddersfield Town.
Sunderland reportedly paid €3.5m to buy the Serbian and due to lack of playing time, he has decided to move to Cracovia.
With Aleksić already in Poland, the report say he will soon sign the contract with Cracovia.
