Everton to open Jordan Pickford future talks

**Everton are set to open fresh contract talks with Jordan Pickford.**

Pickford is now the second longest-serving player in David Moyes’ side after making 322 appearances since joining from Sunderland in summer 2017.

Moves are already afoot to safeguard Pickford’s future with a deal which could see him remaining at Hill Dickinson Stadium for the remainder of his playing career.

Moyes has pinpointed the four-time Player of the Season as a cornerstone of his rebuilding plans after playing a key role in the club’s Premier League survival bids.

The 31-year-old’s time on Merseyside saw him gain senior recognition with the Three Lions, establishing himself as the national side’s first-choice goalkeeper.

He is currently one of Everton’s highest earners alongside defender Jarrad Branthwaite, who extended his contract this summer, and loanee Jack Grealish.
