Prescott is fresh off an embarrassing loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in the opening game of the 2025 NFL season. The Cowboys lost with a final 24-20 score and the starting quarterback failed to score for the team, and completed 21 passes out of 34 attempts.

Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys will be hoping that their second game of the season against the New York Giants goes better. The Cowboys will be eager to put out a better record in this upcoming season when compared to their previous campaign. The team went through several challenges this offseason, but will be hoping to turn things around quickly for them as the campaign goes by.
The Cowboys also had a pretty murky preseason before this, losing their first two games and managing to win the third one against the Atlanta Falcons. Fans and analysts are definitely expecting the team to put on a strong show, despite them losing their wall of defense in linebacker, Micah Parsons, to the Green Bay Packers recently.
Dak Prescott Gets Spit On By Jalen Carter During Season-Opener
The first game of the season for Dak Prescott definitely did not go as the Dallas Cowboys quarterback expected. Within a few seconds of the game kicking off, Prescott was spat on by Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Jalen Carter.

A close-up video of the incident has gone viral, and Carter was immediately evicted from the game. While the National Football League is yet to make a decision on Carter, a suspension is definitely coming through.
Despite having Carter out of the team, the Philadelphia Eagles managed to win the game with a 24-20 final score. The Eagles are scheduled to take on the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 1 of the 2025 NFL season in a repeat of Super Bowl LIX. Earlier this year, the Eagles thrashed the Chiefs with a final 40-22 score, defeating their dreams of a three-peat. Fans can expect some major fireworks next week as these two teams lock horns.
