Toni Kroos is fast becoming a Newcastle United icon despite never having played for the club.
The recently retired German international was singing the praises of Newcastle after their unfortunate defeat to Liverpool last month, saying that he was signing up to become a member after seeing how they play and how passionate the fanbase is.
Having a Real Madrid legend openly praise our style of play was certainly a big boost for the club, with even Eddie Howe admitting that it made him smile to hear his comments.
And now, in the wake of Alexander Isak's £125 million switch to Anfield, the 35-year-old has had quite a massive dig at the Sweden star.

Who?
Toni Kroos was quite harsh when talking about Alexander Isak
Speaking once again on his podcast (via the Express), Kroos questioned whether Isak is actually worth such a hefty fee.
"I trust our listeners, but I'd say that roughly half of them have never even heard of Isak. Judge for yourselves. Seriously.
"Yes. It's a lot of money, without a doubt."

We're bathing in our own hypocrisy here, and we don't care
Had Isak still been a Newcastle player when he made those comments, we'd be taking them a lot more personally, as surely Isak is pretty well known globally at this point.
However, in the wake of such a hefty transfer to Liverpool, we're allowed to see the funny side of Kroos' snide remarks.
Especially now that he's possibly a Mags member. Wor Toni tells it how it is.
