Semenyo starts for Ghana in win as three Cherries feature for national teams

THE [Cherries](http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/cherries/clubnews/) had three players in action last night, with even more set to play over the weekend. 

Ghana, Scotland and the Netherlands all played World Cup qualifiers yesterday evening with Bournemouth players featuring in all three.

Antoine Semenyo started Ghana’s draw against Chad and played 77 minutes before Chad equalised in the last minute of the match to make it 1-1.

Ghana remain top of Group I and will be aiming to make it back to back World Cup appearances. 

David Brooks came off the bench as Wales beat Kazakhstan 1-0 in their qualifier. 

The lone goal came from former Cherries striker Kieffer Moore, which means Wales remain top of Group J. 

Justin Kluivert also came off the bench as the Netherlands were held to a draw by Poland.

Denzel Dumfries had given the Dutch the lead in the first half before Aston Villa’s Matty Cash equalised for Poland with ten minutes left in the match.

The Netherlands remain top of Group G on goal difference however have games in hand.

This weekend more qualifiers and friendlies will feature Cherries players.

Scotland take on Denmark away from home this evening and Ryan Christie and Ben Gannon-Doak could make appearances for the visiting side. 

Amine Adli may also be involved this evening as Morocco host Niger in their qualifying match.

Deadline day signing Alex Jimenez could represent Spain’s U21s as they play Cyprus U21s in their UEFA EURO U21 qualification match. 

Tomorrow Tyler Adams may feature in the USA’s friendly match against South Korea in New York. 

Summer signing Djordje Petrovic also plays tomorrow as Serbia make the trip to Latvia in their World Cup qualifier. 

Lastly, fellow summer signing Veljko Milosavljevic may be involved in Serbia U21s friendly match against France U21s on Monday evening in Lorient.
