Do Leeds United possess the attacking firepower to avoid relegation? Only time will tell.
Many Whites fans have questioned the club's transfer business. Although the West Yorkshire club spent around £100m in the summer transfer market to strengthen their first team squad, only three of their 10 recruits are attacking reinforcements.
Daniel Farke spoke of his desire to bring in two more forwards after Saturday's hard-earned draw at home to Newcastle United. No new faces arrived on deadline day, with United missing out on Fulham attacker Harry Wilson. Facundo Buonanotte was also another target they failed to get the through door at the back end of the window. There were a raft of players on their transfer shortlist.
Leeds Live understands the Whites expressed an interest in Strasbourg winger Dilane Bakwa earlier in the summer. However, Nottingham Forest beat off competition from United and Sunderland to win the race to land the talented 23-year-old on deadline day.
The Reds reportedly had three offers turned down for Bakwa before reaching an agreement with Strasbourg. A fee in the region of £35 million has been mooted for the former France Under-21 international, who put pen-to-paper on a five-year contract.
After completing his switch to the City Ground, Bakwa said: “I’m very happy to be joining this legendary club. It’s a new step for me, my family, and friends, and for me this is the best project.
“This is a legendary club and there is a huge history here. It’s a dream to join such a club, such a milestone for me. When you look at the work the President has done so far, this can only reassure you and motivate you to come here.

“As soon as the discussions started with the club, I had no hesitation, I already knew I wanted to come here. When I walked around the museum and I saw all the titles; that shows you what the club is about.
“The club is back in Europe and even that shows the ambition; to be one of the best clubs in the world.”
His Forest debut could come against Arsenal on September 13 after the international break. “The Premier League is the best championship in the world, everyone knows that," he said. "To be able to take part in this league with the greatest names in football really brings joy to the heart.
“The rest is up to me now to show that I can really make a name for myself.”
