Bournemouth star Antoine Semenyo is the latest player to be linked with a move to Manchester United. It was a busy summer transfer window for United with five new arrivals being added to Ruben Amorim's squad.

United signed Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo, Benjamin Sesko, Senne Lammens and Diego Leon in the recent window and there are already rumours circulation about business that could be conducted in the New Year.

The January transfer window presents the next opportunity for United to make their next signings, whoever they go on to target. It remains to be seen if Semenyo will be a player of interest, with reports suggesting that the Cherries star was a target for United earlier in the summer.

There were even suggestions that United were weighing up a £55million move for Semenyo in the summer, which, of course, did not end up happening.

However, a new set of data has emerged informing Amorim and United of what the Ghanaian international's current market value currently stands at, making for interesting reading.

The CIES Football Observatory have valued Semenyo between €61million (£53million) and €71million (£61.6million). The fee mentioned in the previous article falls in the middle of that price range, suggesting a bid in that region would be a fair offer.

It's still unclear whether United are plotting a move for Semenyo in the months ahead, or if the previous report about summer interest is accurate.

The Bournemouth forward has two Premier League goals to his name so far this season, both of which came in the opening-day defeat to Liverpool last month.
