Lithuanian center Jonas Valanciunas gave a humorous response when asked if he had spoken to Nikola Jokic after being traded to the Denver Nuggets, saying, "we talked about horses."
Two of Europe's top centers are set to join forces on the Denver Nuggets next season, as superstar three-time NBA MVP Nikola Jokic will be joined by longtime NBA center, Lithuanian Jonas Valanciunas.

Although their paths haven't crossed this summer at EuroBasket, Valanciunas revealed during his media availability before the start of the Round of 16 that he has already spoken with Jokic about the upcoming season.
Their conversation, however, wasn't about basketball.
"Yeah, we talked about horses," Valanciunas joked. "He gave me some advice."
Both centers are still competing in EuroBasket, with Jokic's Serbia considered one of the tournament favorites, while Lithuania is aiming to make a surprise run in the knockout stages.
On Saturday, Lithuania will face the host nation Latvia in its Round of 16 matchup.
