Create Your Dream Offseason as "The Playoffs" Mode Goes Online

Fans of the "The Playoffs" mode will be happy to discover that players will be able to create their dream playoff scenarios in online multiplayer. Once a commissioner is assigned, that person will be able to pick and seed 16 teams, in which 15 other players can play in your custom dream postseason. The game says all of the signature presentation elements of players, arenas, and commentators will be present to create a genuine playoff experience.
Fan Feedback Results in Improved & Adjustable Simulations
Simulation performance has been boosted to run 8% faster on average and up to 26% faster in NBA 2K26 compared to last year's edition. Additionally, simulations can be modified among three options: Normal, Smarter, and Faster, with the Smarter simulations designed to mirror real-life front office strategies. While Faster sims can advance through the season quicker. All these improvements were made based on community feedback to make the simulations smarter and more efficient.
MyPLAYER DNA Expands
For those yearning for an enhanced MyPlayer DNA, you'll get your wish with the ability to copy and paste one MyPLAYER into each roster you create. Using a MyCAREER save file, players can transfer all their MyPLAYER appearance, animations, attributes, and badges. The game says you'll be able to insert your MyPLAYER into any time period within MyNBA Eras.

The Golden State Valkyries have had a phenomenal inaugural season in the WNBA and are now playoff-bound. Now players can play as the newest addition to the W in MyWNBA.
MyGM Builds on its Comeback
Strengthening its feature set from last year's edition of MyGM, players can participate in 30 team-specific storylines, with a total of 98 different conversations available in the game. Other features include the MyGM building, which serves as the hub for team activities; a new GM Legacy menu that tracks achievements and goals; clothing options for your GM and Unranked MyGM; and the ability to import custom rosters and draft classes, allowing for a more customized experience by adjusting sliders.
