Jordon Hudson and Bill Belichick have been back in the headlines since the start of the 2025 NCAA season. The unique couple has been spotted numerous times together before, during, and after UNC’s first game of the season.
However, it was Hudson’s actions toward the New England Patriots that caught attention.
“How Petty” Jordon Hudson Goes Nuclear On Patriots Organization, Bill Belichick Shocked

There have been reports about Bill Belichick outright banning scouts from the New England Patriots from attending the North Carolina Tar Heels’ practices to scout his players. Fans haven’t liked it, but his girlfriend has some opinions:
It was podcast John Middlekauff who revealed that Belichick has not only banned the Patriots’ scouts outright, but made it difficult on most NFL teams to scout his players. Yet as far as the Patriots in particular go, it appears that Belichick’s girlfriend Jordon Hudson has no love for the organization whatsoever.
Taking to her X account this week, Hudson reposted several fans who have supported Belichick in believing that the Patriots themselves have tried to diminish his contributions to the team’s success during his 24-year tenure from 2000 to 2023.
“Damn Mike I didn’t think it was that serious lol. They made a 10 part series to try to diminish him and he made a joke about them,” one user wrote in response to a post from Mike Florio a few weeks ago, now reposted by Hudson.
Bill Belichick’s decision to take a gratuitous shot at Patriots owners Robert and Jonathan Kraft will do nothing to persuade another NFL owner to ever hire him. https://t.co/W0ESJRmlh0

“Gratuitous? Petty? A one off comment pales in comparison to a multipart docu-series that had the krafts propaganda crapping all over Belichick. I’d say their former coach has quite a ways to go to approach their level of pettiness,” another user wrote in a repost shared by Hudson.
Some of those accounts were so favorable towards Belichick that users have accused them of being Hudson’s alternate accounts.
There’s plenty of evidence that the falling out between Belichick and the Patriots went far beyond the mediocre results on the field. Numerous statements from both public and anonymous sources have indicated that once Belichick had total control of personnel, he simply wasn’t suited for putting the right people in place – on the field and on the sidelines.
Belichick has largely gotten that same level of power with North Carolina and the end result (thus far) has been a 48-14 blowout loss to TCU and the mockery of the college football world.
Belichick may have wanted to use his tenure at North Carolina to show NFL teams that he still has what it takes to be an elite head coach in the pros. Thus far, the effort doesn’t seem to be working.
