EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) - A former Green Bay Packers quarterback is cited following an incident at an Eau Claire bar.
According to a police report from the Eau Claire Police Department, on Aug. 29, 2025, at 11:03 p.m., officers were called to Brother’s Bar on Water Street. It was reported that a man refused to leave after he chocked an employee.
The man was identified as Donald Majkowski.
Staff informed authorities that Majkowski and another man were pushing each other when a bartender tried to separate them. That bartender called over a second bartender to help pull the two men apart, and that’s when Majkowski allegedly grabbed the second bartender’s throat.
Bar staff escorted Majkowski outside. Police officers approached Majkowski outside of the bar to speak with him.
The second bartender confirmed with officers that it did cause him pain, but he did not consent to that.
The police report describes Majkowski as being “extremely intoxicated” at the time of the incident.
Majkowski said that he was “jumped” because “boyfriends of the girls at the bar were jealous of him because he was a prior NFL player.”
Online court records show Majkowski was cited for disorderly conduct.
